The steps take about 30 seconds
In Safari, tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (at the top on iPad), choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
Using Chrome on iPhone? Tap in the address bar, then Add to Home Screen.
Signing in on iPhone: the Home Screen app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari. Open the app from its icon, request your sign-in email, then type the code from the email into the app. The link in the email opens Safari instead, so use the code. You only need to do this once.
Tap ≡ at the bottom, choose Add page to, then Home screen.
On Android, the app shares your sign-in with Chrome. If you're already signed in, you'll stay signed in. Otherwise, the link or the code in the email both work.
Add the tools you use
Each tool can have its own icon
Open any tool below on your phone, then follow the steps above. Each one gets its own icon with its own name. Or add only the Hub: it opens all the tools from one place.
Questions
- Do I need the App Store or Google Play? No. The icon opens the same website, so you always have the latest version and nothing takes up storage.
- Is my data safe? Yes. It's the same tool with the same protection. Your finance records stay encrypted on your device, and the finance app still asks for your passphrase.
- I don't see “Add to Home Screen”. On iPhone, make sure you're in Safari (or Chrome), not inside another app such as Instagram or WhatsApp. Open the link in Safari first. On Android, update Chrome.
- How do I remove it? Press and hold the icon, then choose Remove App (iPhone) or Uninstall / Remove (Android). Your data stays safe in your account.
